The Chiefs had agreed to terms on a three-year deal back in February, securing training camp in St. Joseph, Missouri. through 2022. Rookies who are late to training camp are labeled as holdouts, a pejorative term that makes them sound like greedy militants. In reality, they are more like freezeouts who have been prevented from reporting. Prior to the 2011 collective bargaining agreement, large numbers of first-round draft picks were late to training camp. Amid labor unrest in 1987, rookies such as Cornelius Bennett and Rod Woodson didn’t sign until after the strike, reporting in November.

Ravens will be right there with the Chiefs in 2020, according to Peter King | YahooSports

Like the Chiefs, the Ravens are one of the most exciting teams in the league to watch, and they won their division with their own MVP quarterback, Lamar Jackson. But unlike them, the Ravens finished the 2019 regular season at 14-2, good for two more wins than the Chiefs. So how do the Chiefs manage to sit atop King’s Power Rankings? It’s simple…the Super Bowl!

2020 NFL rookie class has a strong case for making an immediate impact | YahooSports

Lead back in an Andy Reid system with Patrick Mahomes at QB is as good as it gets, and that’s now CEH’s role after the Chiefs spent a first-round pick on him. Damien Williams could’ve put up big numbers himself, but he now becomes nothing more than the backup with the most fantasy upside, as Reid referred to Edwards-Helaire as a better version of Brian Westbrook who’s about to be “unleashed in our offense.” CEH is the only RB in SEC history with 1,000 rushing yards and 50-plus catches in a season and has been called the best route-running back to enter the league since Christian McCaffrey.

PSA: Embedding Videos In Comments, A Guide | AG

OK, it’s kinda weird, but here is how you do it. At YouTube click share and then select Embed. Copy the code from that and return here. In the comment field click the brackets {} to bring up the Source Code window and past the code you copied. Notify me if you have questions.

Guess who? That was for Firefox on Win7, but demonstrating it could be done has got a few dedicated types hacking away at other platforms now. Please try to read everything before asking things, and try to keep any testing of your own down on the old threads so that fresh discussion at the top won’t get cluttered. Thank you, BRaG.

Arrowhead Guys Twitter:

@JamesPalmerTV @ArrowheadGuys The structure of the deal makes it pretty likely that he will never be the top paid QB in a given year. $500m is large, but understanding how the contract breaks down is important.

Bummer that there won’t be training camp in St. Joe but I can’t say it’s unexpected.
