Who are you picking to win?
Rashee Rice Update: NFL Insider Provides Cautious Optimism Regarding Rashee Rice’s Knee Injury
After reports on Sunday night indicated that the team feared Rice suffered a torn ACL, which would end his season, the Chiefs got their first glimmer of cautiously promising news on Monday afternoon.
Appearing on NFL Live, Adam Schefter of ESPN provided the first bit of optimism regarding Rice’s status.

More Royals, but an interesting look at the early years and 2015
Let’s look forward to tomorrow
Good memories, thanks.
Goff has 100% completions tonight
Potentially good news with Rice. Very encouraging. Hopefully we can get him back at some point in the season.
Dear Patrick,
We need you now more than ever to step up and raise the level of your play.
P.S. Please do not attack anymore of our WRs. Thank you.
seattle’s defense looks gassed
184 total yards in a professional football game when you have the likes of tyreek hill and Achane. Put Hill in the backfield and run the damn triple option. With that speed it could work. anything would be better than the current fins offense
Welp, DHop isn’t likely. Stupid Titan remain semi-relevant
There are still about 4 weeks before the trade deadline…we’ll see how they do going forward.
You gotta admit, that knee was down, no fumble call was an example of Refs being extremely good at seeing things. That’s not always sustainable, as with the non-call on the 2pt attempt. That was not a bad call, someone had to really review all the angles to find it, but OTOH when they completely miss something, it makes them look worse for it.
Call it the Meteorologist’s Dilemma, because I remember when the best they could do was estimate from pressure fronts, and we kinda scorned for inaccuracy. But as they kept getting better, it was never good enough to escape it, because weather’s random. I won’t say that biases don’t exist, but this has to be shaved with Hanlon’s Razor. Look it up.
this kickoff shit is stupid
Just a switch from watching the old kind of perpetual touchbacks, why the fuss? because it looks different? It’s the same result, just with an extra 5yds attached. If that distance is the point, why not say so?
Most people don’t like change, but in this case, tell us how the old kickoff could be improved with a close eye on player safety. Surely you don’t want to increase the amount of KO injuries, right?
I just don’t like it. It looks wierd and amateurish. Obviously I do not want injuries to happen and would love it if there were zero injuries but there is only so much you can do for protection in a violent contact sport. It’s like trying to regulate safety into violent combat sports. There is only so much you can do before you ultimately ruin the sport.
Yeah, it looks weird, I said so myself. But tell me, were you glued to the set for every kickoff of every game you’ve watched? Of course not, and neither have I. Was there the occasional surprise? Sure, but a few years ago I read an article making the statistical case that plays involving returns under the old system produced a disproportionate amount of injuries by a significant amount.
But here’s the thing, you’ll have to learn to live with it, because griping won’t change it back to the old, more hazardous KO rules. There’s a lot of money involved, and I suspect a good deal of it is in legal liability over the “pattern and practice” that produces excess injuries for very little TV value.
Hate it if you will, but you’re hating impotently.
that mighta been a catch
they shoulda looked at that, his knee was inbbounds
Looked like it was good.
why go for 2 here?
“The other coach is aggressive to an almost insane level, so let’s be even more aggressive than that!”, maybe?
still made no sense
Precisely. Intentional stupidity on display.
mike mcdaniel looks like he stole his gramma’s glasses

Well, it won’t show up.

I loved DET’s trick play TD. Makes me think that Andy’s influence on play design keeps growing.
had no idea Goff had the speed to run a go route
Does Rudolph replace Levis?
he cant be worse. Levis is just not NFL ready at all, and I see no evidence he ever will
It’s amazing that NFL scouts can miss that badly
Goff has wheels?
is anybody watching football?
Not me. I’m stuck with Tenn-Mia.
Maybe I’ll switch over, but that looks done
i dont think the fins will win this
which means they probably will
holy shit, my grandmother could have run through that hole the titans blew out of the fins DL, that was a asskicking of biblical proportions
