303 repliesToday at 11 am Arrowhead Time teams can start to talk to free agents and work out deals. While nothing is official, deals usually start to come in pretty quick.
I wouldn’t expect the Chiefs to make news early as they have limited cap space an the early deals tend to be the big ones.
Also Aaron Rodgers may or may not make a decision on what he’s going to do. He presumably should today so the Jets can know what to do in free agency, but you never know with the world’s most indecisive man.
FYI I’m going to sticky this post to the top of the front page so it can be the one stop shop for free agency news. I will make separate posts for Chiefs-related signings.

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport, the New Orleans Saints are set to sign Chiefs free agent DT Khalen Saunders on a three-year deal worth $14.5 million. A St. Louis, Missouri native, Saunders was a third-round pick in 2019 out of Western Illinois University after he turned heads at the Senior Bowl. His early career in Kansas City was disrupted by an elbow injury, but he developed nicely as time went on.
Their defense is Kansas City South. I think that’s 4 guys from KC on their defense (honey badger, Sorenson, Kpass, and now Saunders.
That’s a lot of SB experience. 4 (5?) rings.
Gahh! He was one player I was really hoping we could bring back. He’s had injury issues, but what a physical freak! I thought another season under Cullen and he was going to really break out.
