Kansas City Chiefs 53 Man Roster and Practice Squad.

The Kansas City Chiefs attempt to finalize their 53 man roster–tinkering with the last few pieces along with their 16 man practice squad. Join Arrowhead Guys to discuss.

Hello Arrowhead Guys! The mission for the Kansas City Chiefs to put together the perfect roster is still ongoing, but I have a lot of information for you today. Are you ready? Of course you are! Other than the news of The Honey Badger–Tyrann Mathieu–testing positive for COVID and going on the reserve/COVID/List–I don’t think any moves have been an extreme shock to Chiefs fans world-wide.

Sure, there are some people disappointed in Darwin Thompson being a Buccaneer, Thakarius “Bopete” Keyes being a Colt or in Tim Ward being a Jet now. However, if you look down below at the 53 and listen to Brett Veach kind of explain his thought process, I think it’ll help fanatics make sense of it all.

For now, it’s time to celebrate! These are your 2021 Kansas City Chiefs!!!

Disappointing that Willie Gay is out. I was looking forward to watching him blow up Kareem Hunt on a swing pass. Oh, well, they won 14 of 15 meaningful regular season games with Ben Niemann last year.

hoping Bolton is everything as advertised … but losing Gay is not helpful at all

in theory, the ceiling is 17-0 and the floor is 0-17 … doubt that either will happen, tbh, and while I fully expect the Chiefs to be at 14 or 15 W’s it’s still a huge variable, and Teicher’s floor of 9-8 is very much a possibility if key injuries happen (esp Mahomes)

already have coupla backup OL guys out, not to mention a starting LB … top it all off with Any Given Sunday (or Monday or Thursday) and who knows what’s gonna happen

and for all the protests and people saying the team’s going to go undefeated, I’m a call BS on that (unless someone shows me proof that they invested their life savings on a bet to that effect)

I feel like a realistic ceiling and floor is more like 16-1 and 9-8 (Had forgotten about the extra game and now I’m annoyed).

I love this OL. And to think we’ll get to have this group for at least 4 years.

in football news … the Bears seem to have some misguided trust issues, or whatever (confident in Dalton? wow, just wow)

Bears confident in QB Andy Dalton, won’t ‘rush’ rookie Justin Fields

My favorite NFL youtuber is a Bears fan and has been going nuts at the absurdity of starting Dalton over Fields.

can’t wait for the first game? favorite player cut or waived? forgot to get NFL Dot Com Every Game Ever Played?

not a problem! check out this year’s Comedy Wildlife Photography … it won’t make it possible to see the Chiefs play if you don’t have cable or whatever, but it WILL bring a smile to your face …

10 OL is a lot. I guess the Super Bowl really spooked us.

BTW This is going to be the only post today until the OT tonight. Yesterday was a busy day so today will be a bit light.

Not including kyle long.

I think we’ll see a trade at some point. All 11 of those guys have starting experience.

You’d think so. One of the OL must be on the chopping block once Long comes back. 11 OL would be absurd.

Making sure we can protect Patrick is never absurd. 😉
