Into The Afternight: Our 3rd Shift O/T

If you’re still up and want to talk Chiefs, or just hang with fellow citizens of the Kingdom, this is the place.

Brace yourselves, I’m starting light, but getting a bit more serious tonight.

The lawyer here points out that racism probably has nothing to do with this, it basically comes down to laziness on the part of the LEOs. The fact that the young man was Black merely points up the conclusion they came to, that a 67% match of the names (two outta three ain’t bad*, eh?) was enough to arrest the guy, actually reading the warrant wasn’t considered necessary. At all, because the warrant included a mug shot. (*unless, of course, you’re the one spending a week in jail because they were too lazy to do their actual jobs)

With that, time’s yours.

I’m subscribed to Steve Lehto. I really enjoy his unbiased takes. He calls out LEO’s, judges, civilians… which is really nice. I don’t ever turn my tv on or watch the news unless the Chiefs are playing or some other team that I hope will get smoked to benefit the Chiefs. I replaced tv with YouTube. I watch Jamel, Lehto, AtA and things that interest me. I don’t have SJW, political views or racism shoved down my throat. I have felt better ever since ditching the trash that it is on tv.

Those 2 examples are very good reads IMO. I agree about how the MSM twists things to follow their agenda. We rarely hear about anything positive. It’s all about ratings and unfortunately in the world that we live in today, people feed on negativity. I try to follow positive news or unbiased news. It’s impossible not to hear unbiased or negative news I know, but I limit it. I used to be a callous, almost dead inside person who fed off of negativity. I’m slowly pulling myself out of that phase one day at a time.

I understand about rage. I created my own prison which in turn would lead to rage then turn into depression. I would feed off of negativity, keep my feelings bottled up until I exploded with rage. I would push people away, end relationships and wallow in self pity afterwards which led to severe depression. I never saw it as a “me” problem until I finally made myself retrace a lot of my steps taken and why people wouldn’t come around me. I was and still am stubborn and prideful, but I’m learning to value other people’s perspectives and agree to disagree without getting enraged or keep it inside until I finally let it get the best of of me and lash out. I have to continue to learn to be humble and not let my pride get the best of me daily. I hope that my explanation makes sense.

Thank you friend. I truly appreciate that. Same goes for you if you ever need any help or just need to vent. One thing I have to do is face things and not ignore them by pretending that it’s all roses and the “oh well it will pass”. Some things, sure I just ignore if it’s petty or beyond my control. Other things need a closer look and solution on how to fix it or make it better. I feel if I can’t fix it at least I tried. I used to beat myself up because I failed to succeed. I had to learn to give it my best and if I couldn’t fix it, I had to let go or else it would eat me alive and I would be back at square one.

In order to survive you have to be prepared for anything. Anything that life throws at you. I look at it this way, I’ve made it this far living recklessly and throwing caution into the wind. Pissed on electric fences and played in traffic so to speak. If I can survive that I can survive more. I’m not about to let anything take me out that easily. I will not go down without a fight, and it will be one for the ages.

What the hell is wrong with the post game press conference? I’m watching on knbc and the audio is about a half second off from the video. Just crazy
