Into The Afternight: Our 3rd Shift O/T

If you’re still up and want to talk Chiefs, or just hang with fellow citizens of the Kingdom, this is the place.

Taeks here, get’em while their hot! Well, not that bad, actually, because our lineup tonight starts with a serious, reasoned discussion followed by one of our favorite homers, Nick Wright practically having fangasms on network TV. And since the saying goes “Always leave them laughing” we’ll wrap up with a little comedy, where the punchline’s at the end.

Well, at least I think it’s funny when Stephen A. pops a fuse. Thoughts, y’all?

With that, time’s yours.

Dan Orlovsky brings up such an important point. This team is built for dynasty. They have great ownership, great GM, great head coach and staff. They draft very well, but also supplement in free agency. That all circles through Andy Reid and the staff. He’s so much better than Bill Belichek in my eyes because of how well he and his staff develop talent. That’s dynasty. And to Nick Wright’s credit, 1 more Super Bowl is a good contract. 2 more is a great contract.

Next QB deal to come is going to be Dak and Watson. Dak is going to get around 30-35 million a year easy. Much like others, I am not sold on Watson as an elite QB. This year will be telling for Watson when he doesn’t have Hopkins to bail him out. Now Fuller is a fantastic WR but he is injury prone and I don’t think he is a WR1.
