I’m not feeling it at all, not after today.
I’m sick and tired of having people in the community lying about my positions so they can “win”. It’s well-known that doing that to me will piss me off, but doing so to portray me as the “problem”? I’m not your scapegoat, and lying means there’s no support for the position being held against me.
If anyone’s disappointed by the scanty assortment, that’s on the activists here, not me.
With that, time’s yours.
Unless I feel otherwise when I wake up, I’m going to take some time off. Being attacked personally for speaking against a persistent, pervasive form of activism is just too much, aside from the falsehoods involved. With that in mind, I’m going to leave a bit of angry, bitter satire that befits this never-ending need to make people stop being “mean”, in the eyes of the activists.
With that in mind, since the same activist excuses that go against the Chop apply equally to the drum, the team name, the symbology, and stadium name. Taking out the Chop won’t be the end, so now we have a nameless team playing in a nameless stadium. Since they’ll need a new name, I suggest the activists should get something they can appreciate: I present you the KC Communists, playing at the Karl Marx memorial stadium. Drop the white from the uniforms, and the red and yellow remaining will be perfect for that hammer and sickle – unless you prefer your totalitarianism in another flavor, but it works for China’s stars, too.
The traditions that come with it will be dictated to the customers who show up, and no dissent will be allowed. They’ll stand when told, sit when told, and only use pre-approved cheers, so as to not offend any minority group. Ticket prices will be subject to increases consistent with totalitarian states’ inflation – and if you buy tickets, attendance will be mandatory, because before the game there will be loyalty oaths to take, and DEI statements to pledge to adopt, but now I’m repeating myself.
As an afterthought, this guy’s got some expertise when it comes to ancient history, and is a solid resource when it comes to that. Listen to him being called a racist, just because he dared to speak outside the expected pravda. So did I, and suffered a similar attack from a non-stranger. Yeah, I’m the bad guy, the bigot, the racist. The lies told about me prove it.
Take some time for yourself, find solace with your friends and family. Take care of yourself and come back stronger. Peace brother ☮️
You know damn well the problem was WHERE you said what you said, but you refuse to take any responsibility for that. The MH is to stay politics free. Had you said the same thing in the OT or here, no one would have cared. I have told you this privately, but since you insist on making this a huge public spectacle, I’ll repeat it here.
Instead of yelling at everyone here, I’d suggest you contact the person who wrote the piece and explain how the safety of the free world is dependent on the Chiefs fans doing the Chop. I’m sure he’ll print a retraction, once you calmly explain, as you have here, the connections.
