My mind can be changed, but only by proper application of facts and reason. (Hint: If you are internet-arguing, it won’t happen.)
I can be reached by adding (at)Yahoo.com to the end of my screen name. That includes if you want me to edit your fanpost, and I’ll treat it just like any other piece from the regular writers that “crosses my desk”.
With regard to this morning’s huddle, TST is a secular org that fights for equal consideration under existing laws. They do not believe in a literal satan.

And look at the damage that social panic caused. It’s like Oprah was handing out Satanic cults to the nation, except that Oprah didn’t exist back then, and neither did the cults.
And I’m still pissed about the Halloween urban legend, the more so because people keep treating the fiction as fact. Morans! Maroons!
It’s one of the main reasons I bitch about the massive inflation of potential threats.
Consider the supplements/food purity crowd, who screamed about how “chemicals” were unsafe at any dosage, while touting the health benefits of Himalayan salt, which contains a trace amount of uranium, among other things that get lethal, in larger doses. FFS, the supplement-cult type will even megadose themselves with cinnamon, all while blissfully unaware that it’s actually cassia, which can be toxic, when consumed at high enough levels for a long enough time. The EU even restricted how much of it bakers, etc. can use per serving. But remember, they were improving their health, helping to purge those toxic chemikills that are unsafe at any dosage.

I was referring to the imaginary proliferation of “Satanic sex/human sacrifice” cults. Did cults exist at the time? Absolutely, and that includes a few that revered Satan, in one form or fashion. Anton LaVey’s influence was quite real. But the ones that dominated the popular imagination never existed at all.
TST doesn’t have anything to do with LaVey, or any of that. It’s more organization than religion, though compared to $cientology, it qualifies as a legitimate religion. If we want to talk cults that abuse children, that’s the place to look, because those instances are real.
“Hope he fails” is the standard comment, which I could get behind if he went to the Donks or faiders, but DC? Give the guy a little love for 5 years of service to the cause.
Mahomes was gritty. He was elusive. He was poised. He looked like he was buffed by a dozen power-ups and cheat codes. Sure, he got assists from Andy Reid’s game plan full of surprises and some big plays from unexpected contributors. The great ones never do it alone. Mahomes was Michael Jordan mixed with Willis Reed mixed with Tom Brady mixed with, well, Mahomes. He was, ultimately, inevitable.
2022 Prediction Wrap-Up: Did Anyone Believe in the Chiefs?
"Not one of y'all said the Chiefs were gonna take it home this year! Not a single one! Feel that shit! Feel it."- Travis Kelce #SuperBowlpic.twitter.com/IXmJSPZVmp
As for the stat leaders? Both Aaron and I, again, had Patrick Mahomes as our favorite in passing yards. I had him as my favorite in passing touchdowns, while Aaron picked him as the best bet there. Mahomes should be the favorite for all passing-related stats and awards until further notice.-
Playing in space, taking away throwing lanes, pursuit on perimeter – and in particular, I love how fast/violent he triggers downhill and inserts himself into LOS. And doesn't get jarred or knocked off when battling OL pic.twitter.com/NQES0wJyTn
We have LBs. We have a solid DB group. We have good pieces on the Dline (if we can afford them). I feel better about the Defense in an offseason than I have in years.
Any twitter heads out tonight?
What is the best way to contact someone who is on twitter? I want to contact @chiefsoverload to ask about getting copies of stuff he’s done in the past, but have no idea how. DM didn’t work, he doesn’t follow me (neither does anyone else, for that matter).
Tips?
It wasn’t just C.J. Gardner-Johnson: The NFL also fined #Chiefs TE Jody Fortson $4,383 for unnecessary roughness — lowering the helmet to initiate contact with the head in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl LVII. No flag was thrown.

No one believes in a literal Satan, except Christians.
Just the facts, ma’am.

…bout time for the satanic cycle, frequency has shortened…..IT”S A SIGN!!
It’s like we’d become addicted to having monster movie fears in real life.

Cults existed, they just hadn’t gotten a fancy title yet because one cult hadn’t gotten big enough to belief-shame the others yet.

I’m really surprised by the number of people (Facebook) trashing EB for taking this job
I’m saddened to hear that, but not surprised. I get the whole “commit to the team” vibe, but he’s trying to have a career, and that’s not treason.

Chief in the North had a good writeup about the LBs.
that’s where I got these two tweets
Even Chenal doing his part.

and we have 12 picks in the draft
It is good to be us right now
So glad Niemann wasn’t on the team anymore
Willie worked Jason, in the first clip, and Big Bro’s kinda good at playing C.

He needed to get out from under Andy’s shadow.
It’s been a week (only 51 more to go until our next title!), but still love this
Obviously Kyle doesn’t understand what fanbase he’s talking to.
