I saw someone share a tweet from Peeney saying that Rashee Rice was walking around the locker room today without crutches and only a full leg sleeve.
I hope that this is not a season-long IR.
Is there a designation for done for the season that is NOT IR? Or is this non-news?

The way I read it, unless the player is being waived, presumably with an injury settlement or just having to eat the player’s contract, if it is guaranteed, the IR is the only designation available even if the injury is considered season-ending.
