I was Wolf ‘s emergency contact … here is what I know … 💔😪
He called 911 on his own, last night 7/22/2026 arounfmd 10:30pm… they found him unresponsive and not breathing. They performed CPR during transport to the HRRMC ER. The ER trauma team tried for another 10 minutes or so, and finally called TOD as 11:10pm. Then they called me … then I had to call his sister …
I really need a fucking break from this shit … scarily similar to how Kyle Deibler and John Stoll passed …
If and when I find out more, and info about a celebration of life for both Wolf and my Dad will be forthcoming…

Just got back to the hotel and read this. I’m shocked. we were supposed to meet up the day before since I was going through his town. he texted and said he was under the weather. He said his cellulitis had come back, not sure if that was part of it or not. I grieve with you guys on this.
Ups was a good user, and never knew a stranger – he’d be friendly with anyone. He was always sharing his music with me, and was quick with a joke or pun as others have noted.
Fly high, friend, and rest in peace. Thanks for all that you have done here.
I’m going to miss all those puns and dad jokes, as mentioned below.
Tip of the hat my friend. You did everything you could to keep this place alive. You will be missed.

Uncorked a bottle of Muskoka Lakes Blueberry Wine and grilling burgers. Every sip I take is in Ups’ honour, a guy who made me feel so welcome around here and one of the most positive people. Damn, damn, damn, cheers Ups.

Truth be told: a screw top, not a cork, pretty sure Ups wouldn’t mind. Burgers done, I’ll check in later.

Ups was not only one of my favorite characters here on AG, but he was one of my favorite people on Earth. He is part of why I always came back here.
He was always trying to lighten the mood around here with his constant barrage of dad jokes and general wittiness.
I prayed to God that he surprises Ups and takes him to a better place.

I don’t know if I ever knew his real name. He was Upamtn on his podcast 15 years ago and Wolf on his radio show.
Just yesterday we talked about how excited we were for camp, which starts tomorrow. He’d been counting down. Damnit, now I’m going to make myself cry.

I was hoping to find that out as well, when we were to meet for dinner. I even wore a chiefs shirt in colorado so he would know who I was. I had several people yelling “go Chiefs” on the plane. my wife tried to act like she didn’t know me. we took a picture of me in front of his favorite restaurant where we planned to meet, and send it to him saying he was here in spirit. he texted me a thumbs up….
