Sunday Night Football Game Thread: Bears at Rams
132 repliesThe Bears travel to Los Angeles to take on the Rams. Come here to talk about the game or anything else, while we wait for MNF.
Tonight it’s the Rams taking on the Bears in Los Angeles. Depending on which versions of the teams decide to show up, this could either be a decent game – or it’ll be a defensive back and forth. The Bears defense needs to step up and take advantage of a Rams offensive line that was already a hot mess and now has lost their Center and Right Tackle.
Who are you picking to win?
Ramsey…
The under was a solid bet in this one. I did not partake in that bounty.
Insurmountable deficit.
Sure is.
No QB, no kicker.
wow
I think you gotta put Daniel in. The Mitch experiment is not working. hasnt been throwing picks tonite, but good god he is all over the place and has no clue even where his guys are
And here he is!
and there he goes
What happened to the Rams? How did they become so “meh” so fast?
O-Line. Mostly.
Trubisky is the second best QB on the field tonight.
But it’s close.
I feel terrible for Bears fans. 2017 NFL draft was their 1983 blunder. Hopefully they don’t wait 35 years to take another one in the 1st.
Have they really had a QB for the last 20 or so years though?
Rex Grossman.
/smirk
Kyle Orton? Did he play there?

2019 Mitchell Trubisky (7) / Chase Daniel (1)
A long list of meh.
How could I forget Jay Cutler?
Wait, never mind.
2nd best on the Bears tonight
I see the Rams didn’t retire number 22.
Biscuit sack
And wiped out.
bad football. bad football everywhere
It is hard playing Bears plus six.
Man, Mahomes handles pocket pressure so much better than either of these two QBs tonight
His pocket presence is outstanding. Part of his amazing field vision. Uncanny for a player so young.
He just has a sixth sense for where literally fucking everyone on the field is and where they will be. It’s unreal to watch.
You think they slide Erving in to the LG position next to Big Fish?
I was thinking Rankin was a good plugin at LG, too bad…
So. Who is planning on not seeing “Knives Out”?
Trubisky sucks!
That was a terrible option run.
He’d have done better to just throw it away, that play was going nowhere.
That play, if ran correctly, may have had better success going to the other side with more room between the sideline.
I always root for Tarik Cohen. Great to see a little guy make it in such a physical sport.
Imagine this Bear offense without Tarik Cohen
Something like this:

A young Eddie Piniero?
Doubt it’s of any real significance, but Nagy’s playsheet has “Be you” printed on one corner, and I suspect Reid’s influence there.
I believe I read or heard somewhere that it was his daughter that told him that.
Correction. It was his son.
Watch: Matt Nagy explains the meaning of his 'Be You' message
Reid’s playsheet says “Denny’s” in the corner. Pretty sure it’s just a Denny’s menu and the assistant coaches map food items to routes and he’s actually just a food genius.
Our Bears game should and I would guess will get flexed out of SNF.
Could very well happen. We will find out on Tuesday December 10th for sure though.
I’m hoping it’s not an early game if it does get flexed, as I’ll be driving home that morning. Don’t want to have to start driving at 5am.
Maybe I’ve had to much Bert’s today. Does it seem like the broadcasting networks delay the feeds for the announcers to comment on the play after it’s already over?
its the berts
I’m wondering what type of shape Speaks comes into camp next year. Any chance he gives us anything next year? I’ve been please with KPass’ progress this year.
No way of saying for sure, but I think by the time pre-preseason comes around he’ll be in shape and ready to get to it, but if he doesn’t he’d better have his resume up to date. This isn’t the 70s, when training camp was actually about getting back in shape.
I don’t wonder about Speaks at all because, to answer your question, no, he’s not giving us anything of value going forward. What an awful pick.
Man I hope you eat those words. lol
The Bears are a really bad team. Watch us let them put up 30 on us.
Mitch vs Chiefs:

Hahaha. Fantastic.
How is Favre’s range so low?
He had only started 1 season at the time. With only 3 attributes, gotta bring him down somehow? lol
