Anthony Sherman partners with Veterans Community Project To Support Veterans

Learn how you can help the Veteran Community Project.

Late last week Anthony Sherman announced he had partnered with Veterans Community Project to raise funds for the Kansas City based organization that focuses on sheltering veterans, among other things. We here at Arrowhead Guys are very supportive of our nations veterans, and while this came out last week during the holidays, we wanted to give it some extended coverage when people were not quite as focused on beer, BBQ and bottle rockets.

The partnership resulted in a limited SaUSAge shirt that you can buy here for $25. Cool shirt, better cause; what’s not to love? Check out the design below.

For more information on the Veterans Community Project, you can visit their site here. There are obviously other ways to support this organization, such as donating time to build housing. If you wish to do so, check out the Get Involved link on their site.

Get yours while they last! ‘Murca!

I ordered one when it came up in the Huddle last week. At that point they were pre-order only. Hope it arrives in time for camp.

When they do player introductions at Arrowhead, this song should play for the sausage every time:

I have to ask: is Sherman (or someone in his family) a veteran? He’s rocking that pretty cool tattoo, and he does a lot for vet causes.

Of course correlation =/= causation…

Either way, thanks for the support, Sherman!

1. I want that shirt.
2. Spending every minute of this offseason wondering what that man is going to wear to training camp is not weird is it…

I think I talked my wife into ordering it for me. Not that I cant do it myself, but my wife is pretty awesome and is perfectly fine with me getting a lot of “extra” goodies. Thus is one of those things I mention that hey it’d be cool to have this strange shirt you should order it for me. Now if I get it then I didnt waste the money. Note we are actually both pretty damn good with our money, but I dont wanna cause even a small rift for a t-shirt.

I find myself thinking way too often about what he will arrive to camp in too.
