Andy Reid told Mecole Hardman, “We’re going to wear you out.” I interpret that to mean Andy is ready to stop buying tickets to the Tyreek Hill Circus.

Also, Clark Hunt is more involved in football decisions and personnel decisions than I previously thought.

BleedingRedAndGold

3rd shift,l the usual place.

Just watched the video. Is it just me or did Hardman seem like he was in shock? When he said, “I’m excited” he sounded like Eeyore.

I saw it as Hardman wasn’t accepting the reality of the pick before it officially happened to protect himself.

I think I speak for everyone when I say FUCK YOU BOSTON SPORTS!!!

No, you don’t, and as a Bruins fan I congratulate the Blues, it was a great effort and achievement.
I will say FUCK YOU PATRIOTS!!

Tony Sommer

Welp, I think the Blues are going to win. I’m so happy I’m not in St. Louis right now.

Tony Sommer

That was an unbelievable play by the Blues goalie though.

WaywerdSon
WaywerdSon

he singlehandedly won this game. its a highlight reel of shots by boston and somehow none got through

Tyrone
Tyrone

Their goalie is Shaquem Griffin?

BleedingRedAndGold

MVP caliber play? You bet, but he’s not the one scoring goals, and he’s got a good D in front of him.

BleedingRedAndGold

He’s played an outstanding game so far, airtight defense. Meanwhile, looks to me like the Bruins can’t understand why they are losing.

WaywerdSon
WaywerdSon

boston has a deep hole to climb out of for sure

Tony Sommer

Wasn’t it Boston that scored 3 goals in like a minute a couple years ago?

Tyrone
Tyrone

The goal totally against the run of play seems to happen so often in sports

Chief-Blinders-On

I haven’t watched these yet. Is it worth the time?

backbone313
backbone313

Yes.

Fans from outside the state and do not get to see Arrowhead like the locals or watch every video posted by the staff of the Chiefs… get to see the inside workings of the team.

Chief-Blinders-On

Cool, I’ve been wanting to maybe check them out. I just wasn’t sure it was worth the view as a lot of that kind of thing is tacky and over produced. I started watching this one a bit, but I felt like I need to start with episode one. Plus, I’m attempting to finish up Lasagna for the family and finish up a non Blinders On – Blinders Off post about running backs all while being present for family questions. Replying to comments, and giving everyone attention while smoking too many cigarettes and talking too much.

I thought this 2nd one was pretty cool.

Got a touch of ego-boost with the hockey game. Less than 3 years ago, Mrs. BRAG informed me that we were Wild fans – and that I had to teach her about hockey. Leaving aside other stories on that, the boost came when she told me tonight that she’s gotten to the point where she can enjoy watching hockey for its own sake, and not just the Wild matches.

Always nice to hear that one’s teaching went that well.

Tony Sommer

It’s a shame the NHL and NBA season overlap. One of them should move to the summer so I can watch it instead of baseball.

BleedingRedAndGold

NBA’s the only choice to move, if that played out. Though just moving their season forward, so that they can play the games nobody really cares about while the NFL is wrapping up and the playoffs following the Stanley Cup series would at least spread the playoffs for all 4 sports out.

Of course, if they can’t draw eyes away from mid-season MLB, it would be a very bad look for them. I’m probably wrong, but I have a feeling that the NBA prefers the “confusion” of playoffs coinciding with the NHL, to hide the weaknesses of their game.

Tony Sommer

I think it’d actually work well for them. Baseball is very local (i.e. people only watch their local team, but not big games featuring out of town teams) while the NBA is very international. So there are a ton of people like me who don’t watch baseball hardly at all that would still watch the NBA, but as it stands now I don’t watch it as much because it conflicts with sports I do follow.

Forged In Fire is one of the best shows on TV.

BleedingRedAndGold

Agreed. Found a place where I could catch up with this season’s eps – but I don’t care how much fun he’s having or how much he is paid, but regardless, Marcaida is underpaid.

ForeverRanger91

His demeanor is so different from the early episodes. He was so stern and serious early on. Now he is the jokester of the group.

I used to like it but quit a couple of seasons ago when it seemed every contestant they had on either was so old or out of shape that they couldnt make it through the first round or those that did couldnt make a weapon that wouldnt break. Then you have every contestant being unbelievably arrogant about how they were the best in the business, it just became to much. I liked the judges but it just seemed like they needed some fresh ideas and better vetting of their competitors abilities

MasterChief
MasterChief

I’m blessed to be with a woman that loves Forged In Fire! 🙂

Tony Sommer

Blues are lucky to be up 2-0.

BleedingRedAndGold

Lucky? Perhaps, but much of that luck was the goalie playing rock-solid in the net. And it’s not like they panicked from spending so much time in their D zone, either.

WaywerdSon
WaywerdSon

extremely lucky. they got their asses handed to them in the first, that was a dominate performance by boston. St louis has gotten their shit together here in the second, but they should be down 3-0 or 3-1

BleedingRedAndGold

“Should” takes a back seat to “did”, and only one of their goals was even close to lucky. Good D led by outstanding play by the goalkeeper kept Boston round, and Boston’s D was…dominated, if only for a couple minutes. But a couple good shots and their goalie blew it.

Calling the goals “lucky” and you might as well call all goals lucky.

WaywerdSon
WaywerdSon

not calling the goals lucky, calling the fact the bruins have a doughnut up lucky. the blues D was horrendous, they couldnt get the puck out of their own end and the tender was getting peppered. very fortunate that something didnt sneak through, It was a ugly period for the blues, but if this score holds nobody will remember it

The man’s absolutely badass.

Back and forth like crazy. During the draft after the draft 3 weeks before the draft. What the hell are they doing what kind of effect are they going for there?

I did think it was much better content. They did get me to liking Nandi even more so I guess that confusing slide of hand videography works.

Tyrone

I keep seeing quotes like these from players

They’re not even trying to hide their disdain for Sutton. Instead of just saying how the communication is great, he says it’s better (than before)

Players are constantly saying how Spags coaches them one-on-one and talks to them on a personal level, like the previous DC never did that.

MidKan Chiefs Lifer

I’m sure ward thinks it more than most since it took Reid forcing sutton to put him in the game just for him to play.

I’m a little surprised they were so candid about the 2nd rd pick. It could be construed as a lack of confidence in the current CB roster. I share that lack of confidence, but they aren’t usually so open about it. Mecole still feels like an emergency reach over the Reek deal, but I suppose they did have to be prepared for the worst. At that point things were looking very not good. We don’t know when the footage of him and Clark happened either. If it was a week prior, the situation was somewhat different with Reek. Could have already decided to get a WR there.

BleedingRedAndGold

In terms of content, this is an improvement over the first ep. That said, still feels kinda “choppy” to me.
