Maclin, Gronk to Retire

In a surprisingly interesting news day, former Chiefs wide receiver and all around good guy Jeremy Maclin announced his retirement at his baby shower. He had been hampered by injuries since being cut by the Chiefs, playing for the Ravens in 2017 and sitting out 2018. We wish Maclin nothing but the best in his retirement.

In other news, known cheater and former employee of john Kraft, Rob Gronkowski also announced his retirement from the NFL, leaving the Patriots without the most over-hyped tight end in the NFL on their team. Patriots fans will however take comfort in knowing they still have the most over-hyped quarterback and wide receiver on their roster heading into the 2019 season.

Time’s yours, Chiefs.

I have a feeling this may be another stupid stunt by gronk. Where he either changes his mind and comes back this year or comes back 2020 season. I have feeling we wont be done with one of the most annoying players ive ever seen that refuses to grow up still using 69 jokes

Too bad Maclin never had a starting QB in KC capable of winning big games.

Going to miss that meathead Gronk, but not enough watch his hijinks on reality TV though.
Wish Maclin would have worked out better for the Chiefs. He was crazy good at Mizzou.

Back to the Future is a thing, people.

In other news, thanks Maclin, and Gronk – the former for the good things in KC, the latter for allowing the league to see what we’ve known all along: Travis Kelce is the better tight end.

Maclin was really good that first season. Too bad he had such bad luck that second season, before he got Dorsed the year after that.

Does this mean we can re-sign Berry without worrying about him covering Gronk?

I can just imagine Veach and Reid in a conference room thinking “Shit, I guess we didn’t need to give Mathieu all that money”

“known cheater and former employee of john Kraft, Rob Gronkowski”

For the sheer density of contempt in that, I nominate it for sick burn of the week.

As for the TE GOAT, while Gronk’s got good numbers at the position, Tony Gonzales re-wrote how the position’s played.

Gronk has good numbers, especially in terms of touchdowns, but he had 5 good to great seasons. The rest of the time he was injured.

Yep. Hard to call someone the GOAT when you are constantly injured. I would put Gates over Gronk right now in terms of the number 2 GOAT. Gronk is going into the Hall, probably as a first ballot but that won’t make him the GOAT. If Kelce has a couple more 1K seasons, he is going into the Hall first ballot no doubt.

Not a fan of Brady, but over-hyped? Yeah….no.

Oh no he’s for sure over hyped. Is he good? Absolutely. Is he one of the best to play the game? Sure. Is he the GOAT like everyone likes to shove down our throats? No he’s not.

He is the most accomplished QB of all time but he is certainly not the greatest of all time.

Piss off Gronk

Maclin…Thanks…I guess. For the 1 decent season.
